Questions
Which files have subtitle tracks?
MKV files from rips and downloads often do, as do some MP4/MOV files (mov_text). Burned-in subtitles are part of the picture and cannot be extracted.
Why can’t some tracks be extracted?
Blu-ray (PGS) and DVD (VobSub) subtitles are stored as images, not text, so they can’t be saved as SRT without OCR.
Is my video uploaded?
No. FFmpeg reads the file in your browser — large files may take a moment to load.
