Questions
Will boosting distort the sound?
A limiter catches peaks so the result doesn’t clip, but very large boosts on noisy recordings will also make the noise louder.
What does normalise do?
It measures perceived loudness (LUFS) and adjusts the whole track to a standard level: −16 LUFS for podcasts, −14 for music streaming, −23 for broadcast.
Does it work with video?
Yes. The picture is copied untouched and only the audio is changed.
