Questions

Is it safe to paste my 2FA secret here?

The code is computed in your browser with Web Crypto HMAC. The secret is never stored or sent. Still, treat a 2FA secret like a password and only use this on a device you trust.

Why is my code rejected?

TOTP depends on the clock. Make sure your device time is correct, and check the digits, period and algorithm match what the service uses (most use 6 digits, 30 seconds, SHA-1).

Can it read the QR code a site shows me?

Yes. Take a screenshot of the setup QR code and drop or paste it here; the otpauth:// link inside is decoded on your device.
