Questions

Is the redacted text really gone?

Yes. Pages with redactions are rebuilt as images with the black boxes burned in, so the original text underneath cannot be copied or recovered. Other pages are kept untouched.

Can I redact every occurrence of a word?

Type it in “Find & redact” and every match on every page gets a box. Review them, then download.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Redaction happens entirely in your browser.
