Which LaTeX commands work?

Everything KaTeX supports: fractions, roots, matrices, aligned environments, Greek letters, operators and most AMS symbols.

Is my LaTeX sent to a server?

No. KaTeX renders it in your browser and the PNG/SVG export is built on your device.

Can I paste the SVG into Word or PowerPoint?

Recent versions of Office accept SVG. If not, use the PNG export at 3× or 4× for crisp results.
