Your files

Every tool runs in your browser. Files, text and images you open in ToolWand are processed on your device and are never uploaded. Some tools download code or an AI model the first time you use them; nothing you add is sent along. The No uploads badge at the top of each page lists every network request the page has made, so you can check this yourself.

Anonymous usage statistics

To learn how many people use ToolWand and which tools to improve, the site records two kinds of anonymous event: a page was viewed, or a tool produced a file you saved. Each event contains only:

  • the page and its language, and for saved files the tool, the file extension (e.g. pdf) and the size rounded to the kilobyte;
  • device type (mobile, tablet or desktop) and country.

File names, file contents and IP addresses are never stored. Visitors are counted with a hash that changes every day and can’t be reversed, so the same person can’t be followed from one day to the next. There are no cookies, no advertising and no third-party analytics. Events are deleted after a year.

Nothing is recorded if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, in the desktop app, or in tools embedded on other websites.
